Accreditation
The ASBP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME for physicians. All CME is AMA (American Medical Association) PRA Category 1 Credit™. For live conferences, the ASBP also provides Prescribed credits from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and hours of AOA (American Osteopathic Association) Category 2-A.
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME.
For other non-physician learners, many allied health professional organizations will recognize equivalent credit upon presentation of documentation ASBP will provide to learners upon completion of the program(s).
