Wendy Scinta, MD, MS
Dr. Wendy Scinta is Board Certified in both Bariatric and Family Medicine and maintains a private practice in Manlius, New York. She is a leading expert in the field of weight management and frequently speaks on childhood obesity and related topics. Dr. Scinta is active on a national level, educating communities on the family-based approach for reversing unhealthy lifestyle patterns.
Dr. Scinta received her MD degree from Upstate Medical University and completed her Family Medicine residency at Duke University, where she developed an interest in weight management. She holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester. During her engineering career she earned patents in the fields of robotics, respiratory modeling, and molecular diagnostics.
