Larry Richardson, MD, FASBP – President
Dr. Larry Richardson is Board certified in Bariatric Medicine and is Medical Director of Doctor’s Weight Control Center in Houston, Texas. He has spoken on the topics of circadian rhythm and its effect on weight, anorectic agents, EKG interpretation and cardiology at ASBP conferences. In 2010 Dr. Richardson received the Raymond E. Dietz Award that recognizes an individual who has made continuing contributions to ASBP. The late Dr. Dietz is one of the pioneers of the Society. He has chaired the ASBP Anorectic Usage Guidelines Task Force. He received his MD degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
